We offer on-the-day appointments for urgent matters. Children are guaranteed to be seen on the day that you call.

Telehealth Medicare Changes
Medicare changes to Telehealth.
These updates affect every clinic in Australia.
Some groups of people, such as children and older persons, have only been charged the Medicare rebate amount on Telehealth consults by doctors at our clinic.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, Medicare relaxed the rules that required a patient’s written permission to allow the doctor to only charge the rebate amount (this used to be called bulk-billing’). Only verbal consent from patients was required during this temporary time.
These rules have reverted now. The onerous amount of work required to complete the required paperwork for Telehealth ‘bulk-billing’ is too great for this to be managed by administration staff.
Therefore, all Telehealth consults will now be privately billed.
